Lets smoke Tour - July 29th-Aug 6th 2009 - feedback please

Post by djdalite »

Hey there people, new to the forum. Heading back to the Dam  , this will be my 2nd trip. First trip was a blast but i only had 3 nights to experience the many "sites". I told myself next time im going all out. I got there right before the infamous "Ban" on smoking. Hopefully this hasn't damaged the great city to much.

So for this trip coming up I'm staying near the Dam for 7nights. I really want to get a local vibe/feel while im staying. I usually have connects wherever i travel, but non in the Dam.

My favorite places from the last trip:

Bluebird and there delicious Bluecheese, this ended up being my fav. - lil did i know what i was missing out on

De Dampkring - Of course had to hit this famous spot - fun lil place - best spacecakes in town IMO

Abraxas - Loved this place as well, forgot what i smoked, im sure it was good tho. Meet some locals and got some info

Checked out Cannabis College, pretty sweet

So for this trip my goals are to hit up the best of the best and as many places as possible. First of the tram, im hitting up Grey Area and then Greenhouse. Also i heard of a more local spot called Trinity that supposed to be cool.

First of the boat, ill be looking to get my hands on some Super Lemon Haze, Chocolope, some Ice-O-lator hash. All of the 2008 Cannabis cup winners

I would love some local advice, love to meet some of ya and share stories.

I plan on doing some blatant self promoting, so I might be handing out my Dj Mixes all over town, basically give the Dam a taste of Florida music scene

Anyway, give me some feedback, the do's and dont's - any advice

Thanks, Dalite

The center of Amsterdam....... yes, the area from the station, Dam, Jordan and RLD is the center, but the are near Waterlooplein (the opera) is nice, Leidseplein is full of restaurant, pub, disco, ecc.... always wake, the pijps area has a lot of museum and parks.

In my opinion these are the best part of the city.
