So My Volcano Is Dying

Post by Prestoned »

Ive had it about 3 years and I got it from someone else, so it could be older.

So I opened it up. I had a Torx 8 to open the screws but the last one didnt move at all! I then had to snap of a few CM around the screw to get the lid off. I hoped that maybe the tubes were constricted, but they werent. Its definatley the motor that causing the problem. It takes far too long to fill a bag.

Now you may think I was crazy for opening it up, but I needed a new one. It started because I need a new Valve set, which the robbing bastards want £100 for. If Im gonna spend £100 on new plastic parts, I may aswell spend £250-300 on a brand shiny new Volcano, right?

Make sense to me. :D That's the way I would go. It sounds like she has seen a lot of use. Time for her to retire, maybe?
