just a couple questions to all those dam experts!

welllll...i have FINALLY planned my long awaited trip to dam. the travelogues on this website have me glued to the screen..telling you..i havent been yet..but having read many many of your stories..i feel like i know i will enjoy it!!

in fact first of all...THANK YOU for making me smile and helping me through the long wait with your stories..you are the reason i joined this website!


ON to the questions:

1.
ok the people im going with toke..but not regularly..and are more into drinking. so would grasshopper 2 bar or bulldog bar leidseplien be a better option? i know both are very touristy..and apparently after reading loads of reviews..the gear is shit..no worries..il get gear from sumwhere else n smoke n drink with them. but to REALLY experience dam and the sick buzzing atmostphere..which would be better? grasshopper 2 or bulldog leidseplien? just to say i went there kind of thing..coz theyre like the mcdonalds of places to go rite? commersh!

2.
first place we are hitting is..greenhouse lounge harlemmerstraat...i want the strongest and best thing to get..i wana be hit hard!! what should i get? no ash..not into that! i was thinkin super lemon haze...or arjans ultra haze? from reviews i think this would be the right choice...what do you think??? as a FIRST in the FIRST time in dam in the FIRST coffeeshop...would these 2 be fitting? or any other suggestions?

3.
was thinkin of going on the ultimate party pub crawl..anyone been on that? again...my friends like drinking lol..not sure if u stoners really into that pub crawl shit...but is it good for getting with girls? i mean dont really wanna have to pay for it if u know what i mean..bcoz a few g's later..those red windows will definately look enticing lool

4.
alsooo....where is the best place to catch a football match??
as in..atmosphere...good size flatscreen tv...not extortionate drink prices and also able to tooooke up and smoke the place out lol

First off, have a great trip.
I Cant help with any Bevy- Related stuff, except to say, stock up on your herb, then go to t'Nes. Best smoker friendly bar in town.
And I wont piss on your cornflakes by giving you my opinion on Greenhouse, i'll just say have fun....

The shop is very pretty, big, comfy, has a fish tank in the floor!?!

The weed Ive bought from there was very average, bland in taste, generic in its effects. Not always the case I must add. Its hit or miss.

Put it this way, I would go to Popeyes, Piccaso, Dampkring and even Barneys before I would go there.......they are all on the same street too .


On a side note, Defo the Bulldog Liedseplien.....I like this place ( although, not the weed ).

NEVER SET FOOT IN THE GRASSHOPER!!!

If like me you like to get messed up on weed and booze.........in my mind only one place to go Nes Cafe..........they are super smoker friendly......and have Gulpner on tap..........also have pool table.........here is a link to there site.............Enjoy

The satellite cafe is good for the football make sure you go to the top they have plenty of flat screen tv's and the beer is fair. It used to be smoker friendly but not sure now though. Stones is good if you are around Warmoesstraat, always a British crowd in there...

STAY AWAY FROM GRASSHOPPER!!??!! Its the biggest pile of w@*k ever! Totally commercial and totally a rip off. For a good bar and smoker friendly try Hunter's Vodka bar, it also has sky T.V for football or rugby etc.. Across the street they also have a coffee shop!

Greenhouse coffe shop in my opinion has very good green but like Twichaldinho says 'its hit or miss'

Iv never been on a pub crawl in Amsterdam, i was soooo monged out on my last trip there was no way i could have drunk in the process. As for women, there are always plenty of Hen parties etc! Good times
