"Redlight" models and prices. Good about every purchase 3 papers filters and the largest package, a sticker with the name of the place.

It's not the place with the most character, but Koffiedik is still is a regular visit for me. The staff there are pretty helpful and like a laugh between themselves, which gives the place a nice atmosphere, and there are some good weed choices there. A nice little touch that they give you rolling papers and roaches when you buy.

A buy before you enter with a small smoking space. As Edingurgensians says, the fans really work. Got some nice haze grass for €6/gram. Nice staff.

This became almost my other home during my stay in Utrecht. Everything they sold was way better than anywhere else and the prices were still reasonable. Even better, Dutch-speaking customers and staff kept idiot tourists and exchange students away from there. So no one came to disturbing my peace of mind :) Maybe they weren't fascinated by the place being more Dutch-like than elsewhere either - multicultural, clean, fresh and the privacy of the customers was respected. I could be there as long as I wanted and the music they played fitted into the smoking session - steady r&b and hip hop and other black music.

This is a really nice bright airy coffeeshop which makes it great for a smoke during the day. Small selection of weeds and hashes but good quality and average prices. The staff are friendly as are the people who chill out here. It's very clean aswell.

It is situated very close to de Break - about 50 meters, but it's a bit more expensive. It looks nice and atmosphere inside is laid-back. I've bought there the most expensive hash (Superieur) but it wasn't as strong as I supposed however it smelled well.

A 'gatekeeper' (buy on entry) shop in a lovely canal corner setting at the other end of Breedstraat from Freak Shop, with a typically small buying area. Attractive pastel decor and a pool table here, but the main things you'll notice are the two industrial strength air purifier units on the ceiling. They certainly keep the air amazingly clear and fresh, but both seem to be set at '11' and hence blow a cyclical, chilly, and quite strong wind through the shop at all times (wear your jacket!). This naturally makes rolling a joint more hilarious than it strictly needs to be... Deals here include a 'collect for a discount' token sticker. Note that there is a two hour limit here as well, though we imagine you'd be frozen to your seat if you stayed that long! Enjoyable, if a little surreal because of 'the fans.'
