Didn't see the hours, sorry. As for the smoke – it was those deceptive stones. The first I'd had in a week, and it hit fairly hard, then seemed to fade away as I walked back to the station. I wondered idly if it my tolerance was still too high after the London crapweed, or it just wasn't very strong. But then when the train arrived, I expected it to reverse, thinking that Hoek van Holland Haven is the terminus, though I'd not only taken that train several times before but could see the train tracks extending in both directions. More curiously, I sat facing what I thought would be frontwards, and only realised that I was in fact going backwards after some time. At that point I realised I was fairly wrecked, and enjoyed the high for another couple of hours. So not bad, really.

Hi Smith,

Did you happen to see the opening hours? Obviously there is naff all chance it will be open at chickenyawn o'clock when I get off the ferry, but it is worth asking. (love the phrase chickenyawn BTW!!)

Also, how did you rate the product. I was there a couple of years back and while it was a nice place, and the hash tasted very nice, neither the weed or the hash had much effect.

Cheers

So I got here around 5pm on Saturday. One day short of two years from archambaut's original post, and it's still the same, with odd amounts prepackaged at odd prices (but the gram price is clearly given on the menu), and you show ID to get in. Nobody seemed very interested in selling me a drink, and I didn't really want one at that stage, so I smoked a couple of pipefuls of colourful bubblegum and adequate Afghan. Normally I take the night ferry, which means arriving at chickenyawn and trying to catch the first train possible in order to change for wherever at Rotterdam, and of course there's nowhere to smoke even in Rotterdam that early in the morning, by all accounts. So this was a much more civilised welcome to Holland; I strolled back to the station in a better frame of mind to tackle the three-hour journey ahead of me.

Has anyone been here lately? Was thinking of not getting straight on the train on my next trip over.

I had some superpolm from here a few years back, and it was very nice. A very friendly place and nice atmosphere too.

Got some bubblegum to smoke on the way to the boat, not very nice only smoked half the joint so bud wise this place is a bit hit and miss for me.

Hoek van Holland's only coffeeshop. The menu is a bit confusing with
odd wieghts and prices, and Id was required to get inside.
Inside is worth it with a large smoke room, pool table and comfy seating.

Smokes were ok, and competitively priced considering they have a local
monopoly. A nice place to while away those last few moments before the
journey home.
