I had the Zikigai 14 euro which was awesome and the Bubblegum Z also 14 euro which was also great

Buy and fly from here on way to Rembrantplien but I wish I had stayed and smoked a joint of the White Berry €13 weed that the bt recommend to me it really impressed me later in hill st blues when I smoked it flavour stood out different it was definitely one of the best smokes of the trip wished I had of bought more also got some hash Pink jelly by caliplates think around €21 very good also ...I will definitely spend some time here on my next trip some great value on the menu

I tried the chocolatina last week i have to agree it's a very good smoke complex smells and flavours but very enjoyable and a good stoned

This was recommended by the bt and I had to have some wonderful nose from the tub which transfers good when smoking... good looking nugs would definitely go back for more

I think so too, but as a coffeeshop owner you are always walking on thin ice and have one foot in jail.

last weekend:

Sour Pop weed (13€/g) - Last time I was here it was sold out atm and even this time there was only one gram left of it. The Chocolatina (12€/g) and Sour Pop weed seems to be one of their best sellers.
From look pretty similar bud structure to the Chocolatina (see my review below). Smell was also a bit similar while not exactly the same. Natural floral smell while I prefered the smell of the Choloatina a bit more because it was simply a bit more pleasant to the nose while the Sour Pop smells like it could be stronger. It´s also tasty while the Chocolatina was smoother to smoke. Stong effect that was more on the indica side and made me well medicated.

Overall really nice weed for the price. I prefer the Chocolatina a bit in terms of taste and how smooth it smokes while the Sour Pop is stronger. By the way I met a guy there who also smoked the Sour Pop and said it is his favorite smoke here.

I went there last weekend mainly because I have seen some good reviews about their weed from a guy called "Hazeface" on youtube. It seems he live in Amsterdam or nearby and tested already a lot of strains from different coffeeshops and rate them in the videos in english language. Good content I like it
I also was interested to see if they have their own menu or if it´s still the menu from the plug. As far as I could tell they have a pretty similar menu to their coffeeshop in Den Haag. Most weed strains on the menu are the same like "Chocolatina", "Zingaro", "Vince Vaughn" and the prices were similar, too. While the hash menu looked not like the same with several new items on it like "Sultan Static (20€/g)" and different filtered hashes which were higher priced as the hashes they offer in Den Haag. But not sure on that because the newest pic of their menu in Den Haag is from august and so maybe their hash menu changed there,too.

I wanted to try their "Chocolatina" or "Sour Pop" weed which were reviewed by hazeface. I asked to see the "Sour Pop (12€/g)" which sadly was sold out at the moment. The friendly female budtender showed me Chocolatina (12€/g) instead which smelled very nice so I went for it. By the way that was a pretty good advice of the budtender because according to the reviews both strains are similar in smell

I sat down upstairs and rolled a joint while I could listen to a conversation of the staff and some others below. I don't want to go into too much detail here because I don't understand who exactly they were talking about. I also heard a name but it wasn't Jack and since I don't know the context I don't want to spread any false information.

I researched a bit on the web and it seems like that Coffeeshop The Plug took over Coffeeshop ‘t Klavertje in Amersfoort and in this coffeeshop the police found 260.000€ hidden in the ceiling and 34 times more weed/hash than the shop should have. The shop had to close for 6 months because of that. Within these 6 months, the building was broken into and the basement flooded, delaying the reopening further and further. Now the city of Amersfoort wanted to revoke the Plug's license and closed the coffeeshop because the coffeeshop had not complied with its requirements, which included that the business had to start within one year after the takeover. "The Plug" went to court to be allowed to reopen the coffeeshop because the opening date could no longer be met due to the break-in and the flooding in the basement. So I am not really sure what going on there. I saw Jack sitting in front of the Plug location near Dam (old Utopia) like usual.

Chocolatina (12€/g) - Buds looked interesting. Pretty dense hard smaller nuggs . The buds looked like they were not trimmed by hand or is it because of the genetics? I am not sure on that but the bud structure looked pretty special to to me (very uniform looking smaller buds...). To be honest I was a bit skeptical because of the look of the buds but the smell was so damn nice to my nose Well I am not the best in describing smell/taste but for me it smelled kind of floral natural and was this kind of smell were you know that will be a intense tasty smoke. And yes it was tasty Also here kind of floral taste to me intense but very smooth to smoke. I really liked this , although I can imagine that the taste might not be to everyone's liking because it´s kind of special. Effect is also good bit kind of uplifting but also on the body. Maybe not the strongest but it made me well medicated

Overall for 12€/g damn nice weed. Smokes very nice with a special taste. Really liked it

The interior of the coffeeshop is still the same. I really enjoyed my time there. Personally, I think it's good to have another new menu in town with different strains.

The more shops he buys, the more he comes under the authorities focus. If you are just momentarily careless, it can all be over very quickly. You also have to be careful not to become too greedy and risk everything.

Wonder what all this means for the other locations, they'd only just gobbled up Baba and SpeakEasy not long ago. Nobody wants another Rokerij situation.

At least this one appears safe but it all seems rather messy.

Seems like it´s not owned by "the Plug" anymore... I just randomly found on the internet that coffeeshop "The Hit" from Den Haag runs the place since 1. October. (source: https://thehit.nl/ )

Just heard that the owner has sold ALL 6 of the Plug locations, can anyone on the ground confirm/give more info?

I seen that he was caught with 16 kilo and €260000 in the ceiling of one so perhaps a change if ownership was required

maybe that has something to do with it...
