It's now just a cafe , eating establishment , possibly something to do with 1e Hulp , not 100% on that though
Soft temple was closed last 2 visits November last year and June this year
I'm currently finishing work on my own coffeeshop map that I started over a year (forgot about it after my last trip lol) ago and came by this CS listed on the ACD map checking over a few things. And I realised I'd never noticed this CS on the map before this week?. Has this only recently been added to the map or is it one of those map listed CS's that many will never have noticed for some reason?.
Either way, is this place still open seeing as it's been a long time since a review?.

Nah this place is ok.I went in a few times when i was in the centre and its one of the best places to sit upstairs and nice decor etc.i scored there the first time but must of gone in again for a quick smoke and choco at least 3 or 4 times more and i didnt get told to buy and i asked if i could smoke my own and it was fine. Its a nice little haven in quite a crappy and busy area.
p.s used to be known for its hash rather than weed
I like their cakes. bought 2.5g of orange bud there this weekend for 15€, amazing price but quality of the weed wasn't the greatest (well for that price, what do you expect). still not bad imo
Wasn't impressed by the welcome.
Went in, "Hi, may I have a hot chocolate please?"
"You have to buy weed"
"Thankyou"
Exit out the door.......

I recommend going to Amsterdam in May and looking for some Coffeeshopsamsterdam lover wrote:still trying to figure out where to go in may and what to look for.
thats weird cos when i went in there breifly the guy was just opening up and was smoking weed himself...but then he was a bit weird himself never really spoke much just sort of nodded at me.
still trying to figure out where to go in may and what to look for , nepal balls sound like a good option and any kind of hash that will chill me out, i usually smoke weed over there but i think this time i just going to stick to resin as i havent had any for ages...

I went in over the weekend saw that you had to go upstairs to smoke, I asked if it was ok to smoke pure downstairs and was told no so I just walked out, I glanced at the menu but didn't really take any notice of the price/strains.amsterdam lover wrote:am i right in saying that they only sell 2g bags in this place?

I agree-good place.Good space cake on my first visit, good brainstorm on my second visit.
nice little shop, the royal delux hasj & the brainstorm weed are always good
found this place during last years cup week, was ideal gentle start to the day, playing blues, brainstorm was really nice...small and chilled out kinda place great budtender who was on the ball....changes later inthe day as different tender prefers different sounds but all in all a sanctum of relaxation away from the louder ,busier coffeeshops.......but then i like to mellow out when toking ,not be assaulted by pumping loud music...if i want noise i'll go to a bar
The Soft Temple is a really nice coffeeshop nearby the Dam. I tried the Brainstorm strain and it had a strong uplifting effect for about 20 minutes (if generous) after smoking but it has this weird sparkler shit that goes on in your brain - kind of popping with energy - that is a bit disconcerting. I'm not sure I would try it again; I found the "brainstorm" left me restless. I like other sativas much better. However, I stopped by here several times to smoke and always found the staff very kind.
