Had a couple of drinks here last night with the wife, and enjoyed my two pre-rolls from 1e Hulp outside, looking out at the canal. Pretty chilly, but a lovely spot - very quiet when we were there. Friendly barman, and a few hardcore locals there I think. Looking directly across the canal was a houseboat with a little Christmas tree visible, and smoke wafting out of the chimney - wood fire burner, I reckon. I'm jealous of some of these Amsterdamers...
Maybe it's just me but they never seem too keen on a bit of friendly chat.

Never had any issue with 'em personally, and honestly they're still much better than 90% of the bud-tenders in town at worst...imho

4.2 stars. Think Hillstreet with a terrace. Where the Warmoes riffraff and Dutch stoners go to summer.
Definitely along with Kashmir is the most "local" crowd of all the stoner bars in Mokum, it's also the cheapest which ain't bad.
