Few edibles from my last visit to Yanks - some Weedy Wonder Cup Cakes - very nice indeed and some Kandy Krew BonBons also very good.

I tried the edibles at Yanks during my last visit in summer 2024 – and honestly, they were really impressive, both in taste and effect. They had praline-style truffles and even a red cake that looked just like a Black Forest cake. The selection was way better than what you usually find in Amsterdam.

On the last visit to holland we decided to stay outside of Amsterdam as it was about half the price for an apartment , so we went for Zandvoort, as I had heard good things about Yanks coffeeshop. well it is very large and very friendly and I did enjoy the couple of evenings there. I purchased some London pound cake on the recommendation of the bud tender and I brought another strain I have forgotten now and some cookies and cream hash. the London pound cake was lovely, nice dense buds and good taste and effect was ok . clean smoke and was 13.5 euros, hash had a good taste and effect for 10 euros . We were given a couple of free t shirts as well by them, so all and all a recommended coffeeshop, spacious, friendly and good smoke....

I was there this morning. They hand over weed and a payment machine on a shovel to customers standing behind a rope.
The Coronavirus precautions are really something.

Hi - haven't dropped by in a few years, although I do work at the University in Amsterdam (so opposite Het Ballonetje). I'm still living in Zandvoort, about 100 metres from Yanks coffeeshop.
The coffeeshop is being revamped as it's takeaway-only at present (I'll get some new photos up when it's done), but Toon seems to have bought out a beachbar for a smoker-friendly place on the beach if/when quarantine is lifted.

Came here a couple of weeks ago, first impression was really good. I liked the large interior and the layout made me think of some trendy steakhouse/restaurant. The menu had a decent selection of strains. I ended up swerving the Cali list , deciding on 1g of Super Lemon Haze (about 12€) and 1g of Girl Scout Cookies (12-14€). After getting a mango Looza from the drinks counter I sat n smoked for a bit trying my new buys. Before leaving I got a small bong for 6€ as I already had some hash that I was dying to try through a pipe or bong but didn't wanna pay a stupid amount of money for as it would just be to use on the trip. Anyway this did just the job!

If I ever get round to visiting Zandvoort again I'm deffo coming back here.

Still an amazing set up and hangout, patio is nice even in colder windy days. only had the WW WAS 11e i believe but could be misremembered.

top strains from Cali 45e/gram... we laughed and laughed and laughed as the youngsters happily handed over 100e bills. shame
