Re: Hull England

You will be able to get a pint of beer for like £2-£3, which works out as like 2.50e-3.90e.

Re: Scottish Independence Referendum 18/09/14

I am not trying to suggest that the UK government isn't at all corrupt, but it is not even close to being the most corrupt in Europe (think Italy, Spain, France, I assume (possibly wrongly so) a few of the old Soviet states have also had their fair share of corruption). I am from England (consider m...

Re: Bringing beers and food items back to the UK on megabus?

Now obviously people do get searched and caught with contraband while travelling on the Megabus, but in my 3 or 4 trips back I have never seen the bus get properly searched. I think they are actually more bothered about looking for people trying to sneak through the border, than looking for contraba...

Re: Coffeeshop D and L

Popped here last week and had a look at the White Widow and the Kosher. Kosher smelled nice and looked good, but I was after 5g and decided that if the White Widow looked good I would go for it to save a bit of cash. And low and behold the WW smelled nice, looked nicely dried and there were some nic...

Walked past it yesterday, still in the container (though it had another container ontop of it now, not sure whether it is actually accessible however)

De Graal, Katsu, Club Media, all good reasons to get yourself down to De Pijp during your stay ! Yo-yo for the most authentic organic, outdoor bud I have found in Amsterdam (not super strong, but very natural) Ibiza for some of the comfiest sofas I have found in any coffeeshop (music can be a bit in...

Re: Stix

To be fair I was being overly dismissive, I had only been once, but was unimpressed with what I bought (and that my friends bought), could have been a batch thing to be fair. I am just happy to have a well priced shop with great variety ( and in my experience nice quality too!) in a central location...

Re: 1e Hulp Coffeeshop

Popped here to buy some glassware (nothing special, just a small 20e thing, but my new flat present to myself) and thought I may as well sample something while I was here. Had a look at the Sour Tangie (I think) and the Somari, both at 12e. Sour Tangie didn't stand out much to me, but the Somari loo...

Re: Coffeeshop The Stud

So went here as it is about 5mins from my new(ish) flat. I have heard it isn't so nice at night, but I have been during the day a couple of times and it always seems busy with locals (nearly exclusively buy and fly) and the staff are really friendly. I have found with quite a few local shops, that t...

Re: Sativa

Grinspoon and quazer (I think) are both common(ish) examples of 100% (or very close) strains. Can't comment at the moment as to quality around Dam however

That is when they serve food until ! They are open later, I was in there until maybe 10.30/11pm the other night before we left and that wasn't because they were closing.

Re: Bringing beers and food items back to the UK on megabus?

You can't drink alcohol on board (seen guys nearly get thrown off for it), but they mite allow closed bottles, definitely in the hold. I always take back crisps, chocolate and other junk food for the trip back =)
