whats the best way to get to the dam i live 5 mins away from stansted airport so is easier to jump on a plane but does the train offer better services? cheers j

hey guys I'm thinking of going to the dam in november 21st to 24th will be my first trip am thinking of doing it by myself as got let down last time is this a good idea for a first timer or should i bring a friend?
