The Noon. I saw a lot of good reviews of this place, and made a trip down that way specifically to visit it. Got there and it was really ratty inside. Constantly played really loud eminem videos on the tv and every time one finished, the guy sat channel hopping till he found more eminem. There were...

Side trip to London possible?
We'll be in the Dam Nov 18-25 this year. My friend wants to fly over to London for a night stayover and see the King Tut exhibit among other things. About how long does it take to clear customs in Heathrow for a non-UK citizen? Arriving at around 10AM it would seem based on flights I have researched...

Many Americans are not aware of the multiple roles that the Post Office plays in other countries. jeez, even after standing there and trying to figure out which line I needed to take a number for, I didn't realize they did money exchanges too. Too stoned those days we were mass postcard send...

My ATM from a US credit union charged me 1.39 exchange rate for the deposit on an apt last week. When in the Dam in April/May of this year, the ATM was the best rate with no extra fees attached. Problem is you don't know what rate you will get, but it's usually slightly higher than the published ban...

Going bac for 2nd trip this year
We had so much fun on our honeymoon in April/May that we're headed back Nov 18-25. I just realized yesterday that's during Cannabis Cup. Is this a good time or a bad time to visit? Is the judges pass worth getting? I picture many of my fellow Americans being obnoxious and annoying. How is the crowd ...

Oh yeah, I forgot to search the forum first. Thanks! I booked thru another place in April called www.fortamsterdam.com in the Apartment de Witte Hont which was a wonderful experience, but they are booked up on all their properties for that week. Plus we need two bedrooms this time, instead of...

Anyone book an apt with stayamsterdam.com?
Planning a trip to the Dam Nov 18-25.
Has anyone ever booked an apt thru http://www.stayamsterdam.com/index.php?
Looks legit, but they didn't answer my email inquiries.

Here's what I can remember from Queensday on... Queensday was wall-to-wall people from Centraal Station to past where The Noon is. ...

Just got back from WW Sativa 20 minutes ago :D A fine establishment and very professional in the operation. We got 2 gr of Laughing Buddha and 2gr Temple Ball. The bud tender mentioned that if I spent 50 Euro I get 12.50 Euro extra for free, so he bumped up the LB quantity to make it 50 even and the...
