Re: RIP cattales1960
This is true. My lady and I will wed on Easter Sunday under the redwoods of Northern California. The symbolism of a feast day of resurrection under trees thousands of years old should not be lost on the fact that it will be 4-20, and in Humboldt County.

CatTales
I so wish that I could be with all of you this year. Cat's spirit, however, will be there with you. Share your moments and tell me some great stories.

I'm still working on finding the banner. When it does turn up, yogibear will have it in his custody.

Re: RIP cattales1960
Without cat, I guess I'll play her role as peacemaker. Uncle Ron is not a poser. I had some wonderful conversations with him at 420 last year (2011). However, like many of us, he obviously does not find Channels very hospitable. To each their own. Boney is indeed a friend. This is just him being him...

For those of you not on Facebook, here's a link to an article in this morning's St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The second half is about Carla.

Re: RIP cattales1960
By the way, we did play "Ripple" at the service. I know she would have wanted it, because she said many many times, "If I die, play 'Ripple'." This wasn't a dying request.

Re: RIP cattales1960
Lafe, were you taking notes? I was so fucking amazed and pleased to see you there. Carla/Cat passed early last Sunday. We were told four months ago that her cancer was back, treatable but not cureable, so try to just live your life. Typical Cat is that four days after she had a seven hour surgery fo...

Re: Mr Bills adventures in Humboldt
Are they THAT strong then?. We travelled 2000 miles to see Michael Franti and she was almost too stoned to leave the hotel room. I made her a pot of coffee (with Bailey's, of course) and told her how much she would totally HATE herself for missing it. That worked, but no more brownies for y...

Re: What was your first and last Coffeeshop visited
First and last has always been Prix d'ami, since it was right around the corner from the Victoria where we stayed, and we have friends there. It will be different this time, as we're at the Amsterdame Escape apartments off Nieuwmarkt.
