Re: Another solo journey

yeah nice pics and nice report, thanks. I'm preparing for a solo trip but find myself a little apprehensive about not going with someone. I mean I know it's Mokum and I should be thankful I'm able to go, just wondering what you tell yourself so you have a good trip solo? Well, for me, I ask myself....

Re: Fun in mile high denver

I was in denver for the cannabis cup and got very lucky and found some nice, soft, black hash on the first shop visit. Denver, I loved. The cannabis cup.... I think im just too old for it. The cannabis cocktail parties and burlesque show, otoh......that is much more my thing. Amsterdam vs Denver. Ap...

Re: whats a decent daily amount of euro to take

It's interesting. I myself am looking more for a happy fuzzy haze and tend to shop accordingly. Usually around 30 euros a day for gear,30 for food, and around 40 for whatever. Also keep in mind I use an iolite which means I use less, don't eat meat , and only ish drink.

Re: THE CUP

+2 It's the aura of being a "customer". I can actually shop and see exactly what I want to buy stress free and then to be able to smoke it in public ?!?! That's hard to beat! That's the part that I have a really hard time conveying to people that like growing, have steady connections, or ...

Re: THE CUP

For me when I go the quality of the weed is almost secondary. What I like is the fact that I don't have to spend months waiting, fiddling, worrying, etc. to get a nice haze. I also like that I don't have that clench in my stomach whenever I see a cop. Or the fact that I don't have to go on the hunt ...

Re: It's Looking Good For Us Now... The Tide Is Turning!!!

People should just chill out and relax. For those living in other countries, take this time to be supportive of movements in your own country. Hmm...??? ... Ha ha. Very funny. I've been tilting at the windmill of US legalization for years. Because of a lot of factors(the medical users goi...

Re: Alternative for Amsterdam???

Anyone checked out the Christiania region of Copenhagen? If "alternative" means "place where tourists can buy weed/hash without fear", i thought that place would qualify... not been there meself. I'm a big fan of Christiania, but you really do have to go when it's warm. My habit...

Re: Dutch General Elections - Sept. 12, 2012 (updated poll)

As much as I love Amsterdam as a city, I’ve seen/done a lot of the ‘touristy things’ to do. The main reason I’m going is to smoke amazing strains of weed/hash, which I can’t get at home, with my mates. If I’m going just to have a city break, I’d rather spend my money going on a city break to somewh...

Re: Alternative to Amsterdam...

Freetown Christiania, Copenhagen. Mmm..Christiania. I know this may be borderline blasphemy but in a lot of ways I like Christiania better than Amsterdam. It doesn't quite have the insane variety(and the hash isn't as soft as the stuff you get in the Dam) that Amsterdam has but Christiania proper h...

Re: Quirky coffeeshops?

is YoYo still open ?...more art gallery than coffee shop 8) I LOVED YoYo and I'm definitely visiting that one again. It was open, airy, just so much awesome. I might bring a tiny meditation cushion with me to make it a bit more comfortable on the seats. It's a pity Samertewieterang (sp) closed down...

Quirky coffeeshops?

Hey,

I'm going to be in the 'dam April 18-21 and would like to visit an interesting, fun, quirky shop. Something unlike the same old shop playing techno with uncomfortable chairs and in the dark.

Any suggestions?

Re: A Jazzy kind of coffeeshop?

I wonder. Do you guys recall what they play at Voyagers? And do you think that if you brought a CD and begged, pleaded, and cajoled that HB might be persuaded to toss in some jazz, maybe? Or something other that trance/dubstep/whatever-the-kids-are-listening-to? :P

A Jazzy kind of coffeeshop?

I was thinking of a type of coffeeshop I'd like to visit, but I don't know if it exists. So, let me know if this sounds like a place you know of and, if so, where and what is the name of the shop? Nice fluffy couches, ok drinks(tapas nice as well but not required), jazz or blues, real old "tea ...
