Hey my friend and i would like to know which type of id we should carry with us in the city. I would feel a lot more comfortable leaving my passport locked in the hotel room. So is it ok to show your driver's license to show your 18 in a bar or coffeshop?

Ok i found the drinking age... same as in Germany 16 beer and wine 18 spirits! Yayah i hate liquor anyways ha. Oh and i think they should raise the driving age to 18 and drinking beer to 16 ...Less accidents cuz 16 is way too young.

yeah i hear all kinds of stuff haha. I live in America now and i can't believe how many stupid rules they have here. Schools are retarded and people sue for anything they can, it's horrible. So it's weird to think about how you can go to a bar in germany at 16 or even younger and have a couple beers...

I know in germany where i used to live no one really cares how old you are is it the same in Amsterdam?
