Can tourists still buy and smoke in coffeeshops?
Last time I was in Amsterdam was 4 years ago. I have a trip scheduled for next month again. A whike back I was reading about new laws so tourists can't smoke there. Did this happen? Or is it business as usual?

In all the times I have been to Amsterdam, I've never been questioned by immigration. Customs is always a breeze unless you have something to declare. Peace, Balou Are you talking about on the way there or on the way back? When I went there, it was just like you said, I didnt have anything to decla...

Ok, I'll tell them I visited coffeeshops then, I was thinking to say no since I thought they might let me through quicker, if I said yes I thought they might pull me aside and waste more time asking questions and searching my devices, laptops, phones, etc.. but, I suppose it would be worst if they c...

Coming back to U.S. - Customs?
For people that are from the U.S. on here, when you came back from NL were you questioned about what you were doing here? I've heard on other flyer forums where people even get their laptops, usb sticks, phones, etc.. searched in the U.S. from Customs and Immigration, how common is this? I've heard ...

Can anybody recommend a place for fish and chips in AMS? Or maybe even Haarlam or Zandvoort, I might make a day trip up there.
Thanks
Thanks

Well I returned from the rail and sail yesterday. I have to say I thought it was a pretty good experience. The only time really I felt the swaying was when I was laying in bed, and it didn't feel bad at all (maybe since I didnt have a rough crossing), it was actually pretty relaxing for me like I wa...

I really can't stress enough how bad rail'n'sail is. It seems like a good idea at the time, but if you get a rough crossing you won't get any sleep. I made that mistake, and the whole of my first day I felt like death. Did you have a cabin? How bad was it, were you falling off the bed or something ...

Thanks for the suggestions. I am thinking of going to England for the last few days of my trip next April and have been exploring transport options. Where do you book the train and ferry that you mention? I visited Apeldoorn last Jan. and picked up some good weed from The Bunker, really friendly bu...

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently in Apeldoorn, NL. I think I'll probably just take the ferry, anybody taken it before? I think they quoted me a pretty good rate, 115 euro without a cabin if I take the day train and 160 euro if I get a cabin for the night ferry (when returning). These prices...

Getting from Holland to London?
I'm in Holland currently and want to go to London for a day but, I'm not sure which would be the best route to take at a reasonable price. I was thinking the ferry or even a plane ticket from Ryanair would cost about 100 euro. I think this part I can probably decide on but, once I arrive in the UK I...

If you use Chrome for your browser, it does the translation automatically, don't need to install anything. I prefer this since it's also able to translate some of the website elements like buttons, drop-down menus, etc.. which a normal translator can't do. I normally use Firefox but, use Chrome just...

You need to drink lots of water starting now and especially the day of. It doesn't make any difference if you start now, since THC is not water-soluable and is also stored in fat cells. The water would only be used to mask the test on the day of. The detox kits do the same thing, it's just water mo...

tipping isn't a big thing in Europe as they dont rely on tips to make up their wage like they do in the US. ok, so it's like that in all the service industry jobs? I thought maybe it only applied to waiters or something. the place was dead in there at first and it's a small place, i couldn't unders...
