4 days...can no longer concentrate on work... :D IIRC, the last 2 days before departure, I was worthless. I was already there even though I had never been. Co-workers had taken on a very removed sense of being, an almost a dreamlike state. Now 2 days, I may as well not go to work. Broke my own rule...

My heart goes out to you Yanks having to pay crazy money to get to Mokum. My return flight for next weekend from Liverpool UK to Amsterdam cost me £79 ( around 50 bucks) At that price I go over for a Friday night and return Saturday evening about 6 times a year. Having said all that it is costing me...

Just bought a new pipe mail order. I realised it is the first brand new pipe I have owned.

Breakfast doesn't get a lot better than the breakfast at the Krasnapolsky Hotel. It's not cheap, but there's an amazing choice, buffet style, including everything you could ever want hot and cold, eggs anyway u like them cooked in front of you, unlimited everything, champagne, smoked salmon, massiv...

Ladies, my best piece of advice is to say goodbye to your friends and family cos once you get there and experience the totally unique vibe and feel of Amsterdam in the Summer you won't wanna leave!! 8) The only coffeeshop I would avoid is Smokeys because its the worst sort of tourist trap.
