Best part:

"For some reason marijuana just drives people up the wall," he said. "It's OK to have morphine and every drug known to man — some with just awful side effects. But not marijuana."

Thats awesome. Good for you for doing it. I probably would've taken the closer coffee shop suggestion to have time to chill and not be so rushed but I understand wanting to go into town.

They suck. All they do is run cool local coffee shops out of business in the states. I was glad not to see one in Amsterdam. And the espresso was better too at all the places I visited.

I feel sorry for all you guys and girls from the USA, the paranoia and fear that comes across from your posts is truly frightening, It really must be great and liberating to get to Europe and particularly Amsterdam. It is. And some states are worse than others because they are conservative a...

Vapor Genie pipe

Just got one of these a few days ago. Anyone else tried one? Here's my take on it. It works great and is easy to use. I get good clean vapor hits but not every time. I probably will after I master using it. It's usually not a problem unless the bowl is only partially loaded. This is my first vaporiz...

I went solo last week. First time to Europe as well. What a great adventure. The people are super nice, just a great place. My time at the Dam was very limited so I cant wait to make a real trip next time and stay for a few days. I have to say that this forum and the people here are an invaluable re...

I think that's good advice. I was just there and looking back, my coffee shop experience could have been better if I would have stayed out of the pubs.

:) I really enjoyed this shop. Great place also if you are a first timer like I was. The budtender was helpful, another guy was really cool and even let me borrow a water bong. Cute girls at the coffee bar and the espresso was good. The vibe was cool and laid back with good music. I went back on New...

I also flew out yesterday and it took forever to get onto the plane. I don't care how long it takes if it makes it safer. But personally, after going through a scanner, patting us all down and a search of our carry ons I still didn't feel safe. I think it's a joke. If some guy got through with some ...

First timer

Hey all. I've been lurking lately and have a couple of newbie questions. I have layover on Christmas day and want to make the best of it. My goal is to take the train into town, hit a shop close by the central area. Then check out the red light, maybe hit another shop or bar for a pint, eat then bac...
