It's official, bookings confirmed !!!

I'm in town from 6 Sept. til the at least 8 Sept. (depending on when I have to go back to Germany). I'm down to meet up with anyone who wants to have a session and BS about life and such. Quick question- does anyone have a suggestion for a shop with quality product for a reasonable price near the Wa...

Yoo-Hoo
is an American chocolate beverage. Technically, it is a dairy drink, but contains very little actual milk.

If you heat it up...almost tastes like Chocmel
Not even close...

Is that "concentrate" stuff actually any good?

Marco, yeah, I know the business will do well there, but it's a damn shame. They make sales by selling a mostly non-existent lifestyle. It certainly isn't the quality of their product that keeps people coming back.

Starbucks really is the bottom of the barrel as far as coffee is concerned. I'm sure the Nederlanders can get better coffee without even trying very hard, hell, Gevalia is a damn fine coffee broker, and they're right next door in Deutschland. They do all of your classic European style roasts (Vienna...

Maybe a good idea would be to make this thread only visible to registered forum members (if the forum software allows for that). We do have to do our best to try to protect these establishments...

If I'm gonna eat Mexican, it's absolutely gotta be done taqueria style (as opposed to "fancy restaurant style). That is, served out of a cart, truck, or coverted fast food joint. There must be "tortas"-your choice of meat( ie carne asada, al pastor, carnitas or pollo mole, some other ...

Re: re: FEBO

Yeah, FEBO may not be very good for you (check that, FEBO is bad for you!) but it sure is tasty late at night when you are stoned out of your mind! :P Wish they had a FEBO in the US...hmmm, maybe I should open one?? There is a place in NYC that is similar to Febo. Same concept, you buy fast food th...

I can NOT get Chocomel in the US  I have in the past but I cant anymore. SO Every time I am over I bring back a few cartons (Ful Vol) and ration it out to myself I hear ya. Ever since my granny passed on, I stopped getting the care packages from Deutchland (which included chocomel-she had her ...

I totally understand both sides' point. Yes, legalization is better than what we have now, but I'd hate to see it go the way of tobacco and distilled alcohol (legal to grow and sell, but only by huge corporations that pay massive bribes to the government for the right.) You can't grow your own tobac...

Long time lurker, just joined. Moving back to Europe in about a month, so I figured my first stop should be the 'dam, since I need a vacation from starting life all over again. I'm always down for a session, just let me know. Don't know where I'm gonna set up home base (hopefully the 'dam, but if no...

Nice, I'll be in town from the 6th til ???? (I find work or run out of money, whichever comes first). I'm an EU citizen (Deutschland), so trying to stay is actually a viable option for me. I've been living in the US for a long time, but I'm leaving for good (personal and legal reasons). Anyhoo, I'm ...
