Re: Irene

I live less than 1/4 mile from the shore in W. Haven, CT and never lost power or cable during the storm, yet a lot of people I work with are still without power and water in towns around the area. Plenty of the school systems in the state are still not holding classes as the cleanup continues. The l...

There are more fans here than many people would think. Granted, some are recent arrivals to the US. We had the game on in the cafeteria when they won and there were plenty of folk of various backgrounds there to applaud. Just one question- WTF happened to France?

Goodluck bb420, my heart really goes out to you. We live in a crazy age where a simple plant is tabu. ((((bb)))) Thanks Iko. I did find out the answer to one of my questions last night. I smoked a bud someone gave me and it kicked me in the skull pretty hard. I guess the combination of the syntheti...

That should be ALL the info your doctor needs togive you a MMJ card. If not, find a doctor on the list through NORML that will. It would be nice. Too bad I live in a state that doesn't have a medical marijuana law. The doc has me trying this for a month and if it doesn't help I will be asking him t...

Anyone else taking Marinol?

I was recently prescribed Marinol (Dronabinol 5mg) to help increase my appetite and find it is not as effective as smoking the real thing. It does give me a slight head rush for a couple of hours, which is magnified when taken with alcohol, but it doesn't give me the munchies like smoking a joint or...

Looks like the only racing will be against the clock during qualifying. F1 is getting as bad as NASCAR with the rule changes.

Try Popeye's across from Pink Floyd on Harlemmerstraat. They use to have something called a Happy Breakfast that included a big hit off a bong before they bring out the food. Had an Irish breakfast there, I think, which was pretty good.

I have to agree with what a few have already said, smoking either eliminates my dreams or I just don't remember them. I wonder if there has ever been a study about this?

Lou Dobbs did a piece on this for CNN. Of course they are still giving the old hardliners a chance to repeat their same old song and dance.

Yeah. You're correct, However, imagine the same deal with alcohol. Why don't they ban it, yet fine people when caught drinking, or tipsy/drunk? /Cause it's a bloody ridiculous idea, that's why. They tried that in 1919 when the 18th ammendmant to the constitution was ratified. We all know how...
