Thanksgiving

In town 11/18 to 11/26/22. I've been several times before but in Spring and Summer. Last trip was 2015. First time in what will likley be less than perfect weather that's for sure. I plan on bringing a rain jacket, water proof shoes, and warm clothing. Any other suggestions for this time of year?

Last Rusland AK-47 (wasn't my choice, my buddy's 20 year old son was enamored of the name, not very good)

Re: First visit ideal length ?

3-4 days isn't enough to justify the flight expense from the States IMHO. Everytime I'm in Europe I detour through Amsterdam if at all possible. Now that I've been multiple times I can get by with 2 or 3 days since I know my way around, but my first time I was there 4 days in conjunction with a trip...

Re: bike rides

Maybe not good stoned because it requires navigation, but a cool day trip is to take a train to Weesp. Right next to the train station is a bike shop. Rent one and pedal over to Muiden to see the castle and/or take the ferry to see the fort at Pampus.
