Re: Clouds in the City (New Amsterdam cup)
I have to agree that I find these a touch suspect too. I will point out, though, that there were two separate judging categories; the regular judges, who got to visit the competing shops and vote on best flower, best hash and best coffeeshop- a system that, like the HTCC, is obviously open to gaming...

Re: Nice Things for Nice People
Hello again folks, Been a busy few weeks for me. Following advice on this thread, I put together a sample pack to enter into the Clouds in the City competition that took place over this past weekend, and I am happy to report that I took first place in the edibles category! I'm very pleased, obviousl...

Re: Nice Things for Nice People
Hello folks, thank you all so much for your feedback, I can't tell you how much it is appreciated, you've given me plenty to think about. On Sunday I made my final delivery to the Plug, so if anyone is in town and wishes to try one, now is the time. After that you'll have to travel further afield to...

Nice Things for Nice People
Hello folks, it's been a fair while since I have posted on the forum, but I am often here lurking to keep up with the news. Since I left the Utopia, about five years ago, I have been busy setting up and running a business supplying spacecakes to Utopia, Club Media and a few other smaller places abou...

Re: Utopia
Hey folks, hope you are all well. Just thought I'd drop by to congratulate Utopia on making 100 pages of overwhelmingly positive responses on this thread. Not many places recieve so much response here and I think that the Utopia crew can be rightfully proud of their acheivement. Some gossip from the...

Re: Utopia
I'll field this one. :) James has been at Utopia for a few months now, joining the crew when Sonia left. Until the question of the opening hours are answered Jimmy will be covering the extra hours. After a decision is forthcoming and assuming the result is positive, then I guess they will be looking...

Re: Utopia
from my very first shift working at homegrown fantasy. A German tourist, youngish guy, had come in and bought some weed and was sat at the bar chatting. His vibe was a little strange and I guessed maybe he'd been at the mushrooms but he wasn't outside my weird threshold so I was chatting away with ...

Re: Utopia
So I'm into my last hour and I must confess that my coffee may have been fortified with a spot of fifteen yr old glenfiddich! Spaldwick- there are a few tales but the best must be the naked German camped in the toilet during my first ever shift at Homegrown. i'm a little busy to retell the tale righ...

Top sellers tonight so far Po D Kush and Amnesia.
Most visitors seem to be from France so far.
I wonder, do the French kick out their teenagers on New Years Eve?

Re: Utopia
Ok the shift has begun and the shop is pretty busy.
Outside the city is slowly coming to a boil, with one window-rattling boom every five minutes.
Best get to it...
