I was back to Amsterdam in August and November 2015 and noticed a decline in both the number of coffeeshops and in coffeeshop culture. For example, I could not smoke in the Central coffeeshop (Prins Hendrikkade 89); I was asked to step outside. And there are only a couple of Coffeeshops on Wormestra...

When I was there last, I did not connect. But I ate my share of seafood and drank lots of wine! They have an indigenous type of apple called Firikia that is very tasty.
