Re: Your first smoke
Great thread!! First time was at 13 just before my first concert. Pot was some Mexican brick weed that as I found out later was to become the standard for east coast U.S. First concert that followed was Cheap Trick with Blue Oyster Cult headlining. Laser show was something! That was either 1977 or 1...

Re: pointless thread number one.
Woods60, we used to call that device a "Powerhitter" they worked quite well until you got to the end of the J and the one unlucky timer would get a Powerhit complete with flaming embers. Had to be careful and was sort of like Russian roulette without the totally disastrous end.

Re: Worth braving the weather in late Nov/Dec?
As someone mentioned earlier, there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad planning. The Christmas markets throughout Europe are lovely and realty help remind you of the season and time of year. And you never know what the weather will do. Went last year around 14 Nov and the weather was sort of ...

Re: Barney's
Went to Barney's last October and got some vanilla lush, Acapulco gold and red cherry berry. All really good although I hate say not impressed with Vanilla mush flavor and every time I smoked it my anxiety level hit the roof. I had to put that shit down. Red cherry berry was a pleasure. Acapulco gol...

One thing that cannot be denied is the stuff today will knock your head off in no time. I do have to agree with the gentleman above about not knowing how to fit into pot culture these days. Straight job and family life doesn't mix well in comparison to the days when you found yourself rolling around...

Re: Weed on wheels (Illustrated)
I recently eft Germany after 10 years there and would often ride to work which was only about 3 miles
Away. Took a 120 km ride on the Danube canal before I left that was great fun, would have been really nice with some smoking treats. Thanks for the inspiration to ride some more!

Re: Mexican/Colombian strains of twenty plus years ago
Kingdoc, I can't disagree with you but you had to have been there. Old stuff was mostly grown outdoors under less than ideal conditions therefor it had an earthiness to it that the new indoor grown strAins are missing. Even the skunk of old had a taste and aroma that can't be matched today by most a...

Re: Hello from Afghanistan!
Just got back from over 10 years service to DA as a civilian in Germany. You should try to get a civvie job with DoD. Most do not have drug testing requirements and there are jobs in the Netherlands. What MOS are you; 11b? Hope you enjoy your visit to AMS. I was last there Nov 11 and had a great tim...

Re: Birthday Adventures 4: Romancing the Stoner
I know I'm voicing the opinion of most folks on this forum but thanks for great trip reports and so refreshing to add the relationship aspect. I've only been to Amsterdam three time, once alone and the other two with my love. Last time was with her and my four sons (our fun only began after babysitt...
