Re: Black Cheese?
I'm pretty sure it was called cs rock it, defo on one of the canals in de wallen. It had a bar above the cs with a smoke booth at the back of the bar housing 2 pool tables and a big screen. The doorman said smoking was allowed on the top floor though after the black cheese I didn't fancy the stairs ...

Re: How do you refuse a budtender without feeling awkward?
Some wicked replies there thamks I guess the general concensus is "man up!". I don't mean to sound harsh, but if you feel awkward saying no to something, that's on you, not the budtender or the people waiting in line behind you. My wife is like this sometimes, always worried about what oth...

How do you refuse a budtender without feeling awkward?
Do you ever feel awkward when stood at the front of the counter reading the menu, the bud tender's staring at you, the queue starts staring at you, but there's nothing you want on the menu! I've wasted more than a few euros on bad uneducated choices by feeling obliged to buy something once at the fo...

Re: ACD boat trip 4-20-2013
Crazy idea but couldn't you secure 2 smaller boats, 1 for each day, 2 groups of people willing to commit to each day, if you aint at a certain coffeeshop with your cash at a certain time on day the seat gets sold to the next stoner who fancies a trip to harlem. I'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to fin...

Re: 420 questions from a brit
You went to Amsterdam solo during the slow season. Most English speaking expats don't hang out in coffeeshops. I would suggest you stop by 't Nes Cafe next time, plenty of English speakers there. As for 4/20, have you read through the thread? https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1...

420 questions from a brit
Thinking about booking for a solo trip but went alone at christmas and had the worst time ever. The place just seemed to be full of belgians/germans or summat and all non English speaking. Maybe ignorance on my part for assuming the whole world speaks english and not learning any new languages but a...

Re: Sugar allergies and food intolerances
Many thanks I didn't even considered it when booking, used to live on the stoner munchie junk and fast food in years gone by, couldn't even use these places as a last resort now because effects leave me in such ill health.
Very relieved thankyou

Sugar allergies and food intolerances
Hey all Just booked up to go 2 dam at Xmas but since the last time I went a few years ago I've been diagnosed as allergic to sugar, intolerant to white bread (the flour and yeast cause the problems ) and red meat. Does anyone know if wholemeal or wholegrain bread is available? Also does anyone know ...

Hey all, Glad to be a part of your network!!!! Been to Amsterdam about 6 or 7 times ( I think!!!) in last 10yr and decided rather than sit around with the family this year ( I have no partner or kids unlike all my friends) I'd get out and do something with my time off. . . Dam it is then!! Every tim...
