Re: Random Thread

For anyone fond of sucker bets, there's an American-trained, Canadian-bred horse running at Ascot tomorrow at 17.37 BST. At 25/1 with Sky and Paddy Power, who are paying 5 places though it isn't a handicap, it's one way to waste your money.

Socialism and Liberalism are two totally different things
Tip -- if someone on a message board starts talking about 'you socialist liberals', they're not the sharpest tool in the box, nor are they engaging in rational argument.

Ah, I had wondered recently how I made an enemy out of macky. Didn't recall interacting with you much fellow.
So you spent valuable stoner time on going through Macky's posts, until you unearthed this from a couple of years ago.

I'll just leave that there, because any comment would ruin it.

I've never been to Barcelona. How are they like with bad Spanish half-remembered from school as a foreigner, or are you better off with English in Catalonia?

Re: Epileptic boy, whose medicinal cannabis was seized is in a life threatening condition' after suffering seizures

Strictly speaking, as far as I'm aware the medical cannabis the UK produces has no or negligible THC content, and that doesn't work with this lad. I might be wrong, as I find the entire topic too depressing to research in detail, so perhaps someone with more knowledge will comment.

Re: Green Place

Is the Johnny Blaze still on the menu? The last time I was in town I looked without buying, wondered how it could be so cheap, and decided against trying it, as I've largely given up on Dam weed and concentrate on hash. Besides, not having bought it at a higher price, I had nothing to compare it with.

Who needs the WC anyway when the chances are Ryanair won't get you there!
No toilets on Ryanair? Doesn't surprise me.

You know, I doubt that even redeyezman believes most of what he writes. It's called trolling, otherwise known as acting like a toddler, adult-style. Not getting any attention? Say something particularly cretinous, and watch people react to it. Kim Jong-un is a nice misunderstood democrat! Tourists p...

Supply and demand

One of the more pointless provisions of the illogical Dutch cannabis laws is to bar shops from stocking more than 500g at any one time. But my last visit seemed to be more miss than hit. First stop, 1e Hulp -- no sour diesel hash. OK, it's opening time, so likely to be more pot luck than usual, and ...

Re: The Plug (formerly Utopia)

The only positive I can pick out of your visit report FOD is that Ingi was there ! 😎 To judge from other reports, James is still there, and the newish budtender who's often there in the evening -- Ahmed? -- was there as well. So three. Though they work alongside what I assume are others more closel...

I also had a hash called Muchina from here a few months ago. It was a darker nearly black hash but in my opinion it was not so fresh and the hash had nearly no smell :? The current batch is pretty fresh. A darker sticky hash with a great strong smell. Smell is more like weed than hash. So it´s a ne...

Re: The Plug (formerly Utopia)

I think that was what Ingi was explaining to me. I admit to being a bit glazed, what with the music. I was eager to see the new look, so came here as usual after my traditional 7am arrival smoke at 1e Hulp. A bit disappointed at the absence of Kashmir Dream, as the Plug appeared to have left the has...

Lift tickets are pre-rolled cones of a kind, before you ask. I'm not sure what kind, but then I don't go for pre-rolls.

Re: Amsterdam launches campaign against misbehaving tourists

Were males respectful in Amsterdam in the 70s, 80s, and 90s? Or was their poor behavior simply tolerated because Amsterdam was desperate for tourists? My guess is males were respectful. Now why do they need to act out? Are they repressing something in their daily lives? Don't guess. They weren't. T...
