Tony Balboa opens Cannabis Club

I see Tony Balboa is relocating to Barcelona and will be involved with High Class BCN (co-owner). He built quite the name for himself in Amsterdam, I'm sure he will do well in Barcelona, I wonder if they will also have the vape parties with the cannaconda bags at High Class BCN?

Re: The Best coffeeshops Outside of Amsterdam..!!

Through conversations on my recent trip and conversations with people on Instagram I've gotten a few new places I want to try and visit (separate to the boat obsession  ), so thought I'd share them in this thread. I did notice Jesscass has been to all. Said poster may have a propenisty for upse...

Re: Bluebird

Tbf I was a big fan of the old Bluebird so was sceptical about the renovations, but I think they've upgraded it while retaining some of the original feel.

Re: Medical Cannabis Is Gaining Momentum In Asia

Thailand, for its part, unveiled its first legal cannabis greenhouse in February. “The attitude is that it’s already a part of traditional medicine … and we should ensure that Thais can control their own industry, ” said Jim Plamondon, marketing head of Thai Cannabis Corporation said to Reuters las...

Re: RIP Nol Van Schaik

Very sad indeed, not sure people (i.e. the average cannabis tourist) understand how much Nol and others from the local Dutch scene fought at times to maintain the tolerated status and Dutch coffeeshops, which have been under sustained pressure for years.

Re: Bluebird

But those stairs had tradition! Love it  vintage ACD......."we hate suicide stairs"....stairs removed......"but suicide stairs have so much nostalgia" Did they replace them with a rope, abandoning all pretence of graduated ascent, or are you just supposed to take a deep toke and floa...

Re: Coffeeshops on Boats/Barges

In a bid to get more information, I cheated on ACD and also posted about this on another forum (i know, I know.......the shame!!). While I didn't get any further Coffeeshops on boats I did find out about the Drugsboat which used to be in Arnhem, pic below. It was a boat for hard drug users to use so...

Re: Bulldog Hotel and Hostel Closed for Renovation Feb-Jul 2020

A private commercial enterprise like the Bulldog might be quicker than the Dutch Gov, given they are taking such a hit having it closed, but renovations are not always straighyforward. Ed you have some experience of that yourself :) I would book a trip and break tradition rather than risk holding ou...

Yes. The culture boat in Utrecht is very nice.
I was asking about this subject on Instagram as well and this place was recommended by a few people. Easy trip to make from Amsterdam as is the one in Almere.
