Thinking about a quick trip over early next year, but still keeping a close eye on the travel restrictions and requirements.

Discovered that hotels.com allows you to split your hotel costs over three payments, which is pretty handy.

Re: What's everyone listening to?

My son once looked at my substantial CD collection and described it as “old school” Fast forward to today and the CDs and vinyl (and I had some lovely Japanese pressings) are long gone. I now stream a premium Spotify account at 320kbs from my phone through the TV, into the amp and speakers!!...

Re: Change on travel requirements from UK

As of Oct 1st The Dutch authorities currently classify the UK as a ‘very high risk country’. This means that fully vaccinated UK nationals, who can provide acceptable proof of vaccination, which includes the NHS COVID Pass, will be allowed to enter the Netherlands. Fully vaccinated travellers arrivi...

Change on travel requirements from UK

From the gov.uk website: “As of 8 August the Dutch authorities will change its classification of the UK from ‘a very high risk country with a variant of concern’ to ‘a very high risk country’ which will mean that fully vaccinated UK nationals, who can provide acceptable proof of vaccination, which i...

Indeed.

UK not on the safe list and with only a few specific exceptions, UK citizens are NOT ALLOWED INTO THE NETHERLANDS.

That would appear to be fairly unambiguous!

Double jabbed and I am hoping for a quick trip to Zandvoort in September too. The mask thing... Actually, the thought of going back to life without masks scares me. I've been mouthing "Fuck Off" to people for months and I'm not sure I can stop..    :mr...

We have some people with the glass half empty, some with it half full, but Brufy is looking at a smashed glass on the ground  We need to DHL you some hope and optimism  :D And I stand by what I said - and that’s a few months on. Regrettably, it seems to me nothing much has changed. In...

Re: When can we return to mokum

Been thinking about a two night trip 17/18 January next year, but not committing yet, as there are still too many hoops to go through at the moment. But will keep my eye on the situation. It will be two years between trips, which is the longest gap since I started visiting in 1995. Sadly missed.

Re: I miss Amsterdam so much! Wish covid would fcuk off already

...The world has changed and not for the better... I cancelled a trip booked for January. Am now looking at January 2022, having emailed my favoured hotel directly, who have offered me accommodation even though it is not yet possible to book it online. Given the current situation; COVID on the rise...
