Keep your tobacco under the table and you're fine to smoke in there. I've never had an issue.

Great little shop, enjoy :D

Re: Stones (formerly Kabouter)

Can anyone confirm if Danny is still anything to do with Stones? I know he was also helping @ Voyagers for a while, but not seen him there recently. He's a nice guy, I rented his apartments a few times and used to see him at Dance Valley. I always liked the old Stones shop and am keen to see if they...

Re: Hotel Voyagers

Hi all, I'm booked in Voyager 8-12 March. Is there a direct email or a number anyone is aware of? I'm arriving 5 pm and I don't want to risk then thinking I'm not turning up and letting the room out to a 'walk up'. I could be worrying about nothing and my conf email clearly states my arrival time. I...

Re: Popeye

A horrible excuse for a coffeeshop. My wife and I went once, many years ago and were passed the pipe upon entering. At the time, we thought it was a lovely friendly place. I went back a couple of years ago and I ordered some Diesel, the speed in which he filled the bag and chucked it at me, gave cau...

Re: Rick's Café

If you can get the seats outside, it's a great little 'people watching' venue. I've some some crazy things sat there. Coffeeshop next door, not sure if it's really any good. I've bought one piece of hash, pollen if memory serves......

Re: Nov/Dec 2017 - With muted tones, I return

Personally holding people no matter where located making such effort for friends in high regard so kudos to you, Djreign! That's a sign of 'real friendship' to me as myself differentiates between aquintances, accomplices, mates and friends in this particular order. Latter ones you merely find a han...

Re: Nov/Dec 2017 - With muted tones, I return

Thanks everyone for all your kind words. @ OneHighMofo, will certainly let you all know how March goes. I'm confident it will be fun. @ Macky, supper at La grotte is a wonderful experience, well an experience. Maybe I'll change it up in March and try Batava? I've still never managed to get in there....

Nov/Dec 2017 - With muted tones, I return

As some may have noted in travel plans, I returned to Amsterdam in November for the funeral of a very dear friend. I've travelled to Amsterdam over 30 times in the past 17 years. One thing I have always done, was meet up with a good friend i used to work with at a media agency on London. We ran the ...

Re: Last minute Wed - Sat

Thanks WillJay. It's strange. I've never been less excited about going to Amsterdam, I think this is trip 28 or 29? I'm sure once I have sat down in Picasso (my arrival ritual) things will improve. I'll then spend most of my time in 137, Relax and Club Media. While cycling to a few others. I always ...

Last minute Wed - Sat

It's with a heavy heart I return sooner than I thought. My good friend, I visited in March took a dramatic downturn and has gone to the heavens (if such a place exists?) to finally be at peace. I'm not as excited as usual and I don't envisage visiting many more than my faves - 137 and relax as they ...
