The dreaded cobblestone. I was in Amsterdam for 2 weeks in Sept. 2007. I wasn't in town for more than 2 hours before I stepped on a wobbly stone and twisted my knee. Now it sounds like you did more damage to your knee than I did to mine, but at least you waited till the end of your trip to get hurt....
