Re: Solar Powered Plant Turners

If you would like something cheaper that works at least as good if not better. Put a layer of Solarig Solaroof 140 between your lights and the plants. It disperses the light to give you light to every part of the plant better plus keeps the heat of the lights of the plant. I have this stuff covering...

Re: Grafting

So you got hops to grow then? Yes they are in the same family of plants. The % that survived the grafting was very low because I did not know as much about grafting then as I do now. If you want to know more about how to graft let me know and I will write up a detailed "how to" for you. J...

Re: tops shops near vondelpark

Tweedy is a stones throw from Vondel Park. I found it in 09 when I was walking from Hotel Abba to Vondel park as it is located between the 2. Directions as you walk out of Abba/Albert Heijn turn right walk to the first intersection and turn left cross street walk about 100 meters and it will be on y...

Re: Grafting

Total myth. I tried this back in the 80's and all that happens is you waste good weed seed to grow regular hops.

Re: rooting gel

Pretty sure I read clonex was just a nutrient and didn't have any actual cloning chemicals in it, if you're in the UK then your local garden centre should have some, I use some organic stuff it stinks fucking horrible but it works, you'll probably already know this but try and clone off newer branc...

Re: Nol van Schaik: The price level of cannabis in Dutch cof

Nol has been saying that is how pricing has worked for years, nothing new. If you have been to one of his shops on the last 4-5 years you will know he does not have a good conection anymore as the places have turned to shit. Before 07 his shops were famous for there good weed and prices.

Re: My first grow - journal w/ pics

As we speak about it, what is exactly the use of the EC meter ? I mean, I kinda understood that EC tells you how much the plant is gonna eat from the nutes in the water, but for example if you have a recommended EC of 2, and if your water has an EC of 3, how do you bring it down ? A EC(Electrocondu...

The 40' X 76' greenhouse in my yard gets way too much attention for it any more. In my little gre...

Re: Which PH meter do you use?

People who are mass producing product (such as growing produce) are doing it for the highest possible profit. That might be fine for commercial grows, but mine is far from a commercial grow...I can control every aspect of it, as it'll be my personal smoke...so I can be picky and not cheap out on so...

Re: Which PH meter do you use?

Sorry to go off subject from the ph meter topic. Google is your friend, before saying battery acid is bad do a little research. I actually grow hydroponic produce for a living and can tell you from personal experiance that 99% of all hydroponic produce growers that have alkaline water use it. I thin...

Re: Which PH meter do you use?

Not to plants. Plus it really is not that strong of acid, if you get some on yourself just rinse it off with water. Most hydroponic greenhouses use it because of the cheap price.
