Re: Strong MJ to be treated as class A drug,Dutch Govt.pla

OK let's all assume that god is great, all powerful etc. God created weed. MAN created laws prohibiting weed. MAN tries to control others through religion. What does god have to do with any of this? All I see is a right wing political party seeking greater control over 'its' citizens through stricte...

Re: Dampkring 2 (formerly Pink Floyd)

This shop is so busy I usually keep on walking because I don't want to wait for so long to be served. One day I got there early before a queue formed, made a few purchases and sat down to enjoy them over a cup of tea. I saw the incredible volume of foot trafffic that passes through this place. Total...

Re: Funny People

Last time I passed this place which is nowhere near the gay district (AFAIK) it had a 2g buy minimum sign posted. I voted with my feet and walked on. Maybe they should hire live comedians to provide entertainment in line with their name/theme and justify the 2g min purchase rule?

Re: Grasshopper 2

Went there for a drink once but didn't buy any weed cos the atmosphere in that area was too wierd. The bar was friendly enough if a little expensive. The serving girls were very cute as I recall. I never went back because there are so many better places to smoke/drink.

Re: Voyagers

The weed is good there but too expensive IMHO. The rooms when I last stayed there were pretty grim so I hope they have been upgraded along with the coffeeshop decor/seating.

Sounds a bit like Barney's except not on a canal and I don't think they do 6.5eu deals there!

Re: Dry in the land of Thai

In Pattaya just go to the beach near the Hard Rock hotel after sundown and walk North. There are usually sellers. Be vigilant and discreet as there are often people about. On 'Walking St' there is an alley just past 'Hot Tuna' bar (the one with the live bands) where a seller lurks at the entrance. M...

Re: The Doors Neighborhood???

Hey- I'm looking to rent an apartment right across the canal from The Doors. Does anyone have any feedback about this location? Very busy? Touristy? Noisy? Any help would be appreciated. Looks like there will be a lot of CS's around the area, but not only looking for proximity. Want a nice 'hood to...

Re: what film(s) are u watching

Fantastic Mr Fox. Yes it is animation and yes it is a childrens story by Roald Dahl.
It is also a Wes Anderson film and includes the voices of all the usual suspects.
Really good in a 'feeding of the soul' type of way.

Re: weedpass before april

So this is a weedpass designed to stop foreigners from eing able to buy weed in the Netherlands. What a great move for tourism!
Can't see it ever happening unless the whole world gets taken over by right wing fundamental religious zealots.

Re: Incompatible Relationships :/

Great thread and some really heart warming and heart breaking reading. Recently I thought it might be a nice idea to find a pot smoking partner so I put an ad up on 420dating. Little did I know it really should have been called 'African scam dating.' Got a LOT of responses in a short time. They had ...
