From the new address for bike tours on Prins Hendrikkade to the old rental address on Kerkstraat would take less than 10 mins.
But if you're heading to De Pijp directly from the new address the difference in time would be no more than 5 minutes.

Re: How to use the tram - fast
The one-hour ticket bought within the tram sounds perfect.
Many thanks!

How to use the tram - fast
When I arrive at Central Station I need to get to Leidseplein in about 20 minutes. I understand I can take Trams 1, 2 or 5 but how do I pay the fare. It's the only journey I'll be making by tram on this trip so I just want to be ready with a single ticket rather than have to buy a ticket when I arri...

Re: Recommendation for Apartment booking websites?
I have used Airbnb for my lasy 4 visits. I like it because you be in contact with the owner of the flat and ask the obvious question. "Is okay to smoke grass/weed/cannabis/!". Totally reliable site and flats in my experience.
Good luck!

Re: Van Gogh Closed
Why not take a day trip to the Kroller-Muller Museum instead.
It has a fantastic collection of Van Goghs, has less crowds, other artists on view, great sculpture park too. You can also rent a bike and cycle round the woods if that takes your fancy.

Re: A Jazzy kind of coffeeshop?
Nice thread, yes some nice jazz would go down a treat. Some Ella and Louis sounds perfect. I am put off most coffeeshops by the music, out of all of them you'd think just one might play something a bit different. Jazz or classical would bring the likes of me in and get my business. I find it difficu...
