you should be fine bringing a couple of Js in Belgium. I would recommend visiting Brugges (sp?) It's east of Antwerpen, a really beautful old city w/canals. I visited my first trip to Adam. I only spent one nite, but it was worth it. Here is the Wiki link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruges http://...

I just took a peak at that hotel, see what they say on their homepage: "Come, come again, whoever you are, come! Heathen, fire worshipper or idolatrous, come! Come even if you broke your penitence a hundred times, Ours is the portal of hope, come as you are." Maybe it's from the Bible. I t...

Amsterdam is the perfect city for strolling. So, maybe if you mark some things you want to see on a map (coffeshops, museums, head shops) you can check them out if your'e in the area. Make it a treasure hunt. On my second trip, I was only there for 3 days, so I only visited 2 new shops. I did go to ...

Mazdog, is that a pic of Outland Records in your Amsterdam Sights section? I'm curious, as I've looked up the shop, but never been.

I'm not sure where your campsite is, but if you take the free ferry behind Centraal Station, you can hit Landsmeer. I have biked through there, but never visited any shops. Maybe this is close to you:

Try Stix or Willie Wortel's in Haarlem. I've bought it at chocolata, but that was seven years ago.

Hey Badfrog, are you flying outta Detroit? I'm thinking about visiting my mom (in Lansing) and taking an extended weekend to the Dam. KLM/Northwest flies direct. I just have to convince my better half to let me go. I'm shooting for fall/early winter, depending on how cheap the flights are.

I never did any guided tours until I visited Germany last year. Now, I think they are great. If you have a good guide, they can show you all kinds of stuff you might pass by, and they can give a little history, etc. I know there are books that lay out some walking tours. I've used Rick Steves books,...

I've been to the Centrum and Namaste. On my first trip my main guidance was the High Times cup winners. I spent a lot of time in these shops on my first trip, and was given directions to a rave housed in an old warehouse from one of the waitresses at Namaste. I realized after this that I might have ...

Nice pics and reporting. I've heard nothing but good stuff about that Annunaki. I guess I better get over there and try it.
