Important things are happening in NL that are changing it for the worse. But the word and meaning of anti-social behavior is well established and used by people and politicians on the left and right. I used the word anti-social behavior because it is a Dutch phrase, used by everyone from coffeeshop...

If the US legalises weed, do you think the UK will follow? Given time, quite possibly. The thing is that the US puts a LOT of pressure on other countries to keep weed illegal. What I think is going to happen is a lot like what happened with medical MJ. Please note that what is below is 100% specula...

Thanks for that. Sounds like the government will definately have battle on there hands over this, the coffee shops and cities arent gonna just roll over take it, im starting to get the feeling this may drag on for years to come. Now that I agree with. Of course, if I were them I'd pump cash out of ...

http://www.at5.nl/artikelen/52496/amsterdam-botst-met-den-haag-over-coffeeshops TY. After reading some of the comments it is actually kinda sad. From what it looks to me(and it could be that I am being misled by Google Translate) some of the commenters seem to want Amsterdam to be Paris or Milan. B...

Looks like Christiana could be my next port of call... 8) I know, right? I was thinking for me it was a win/win no matter what happens. If it has hash that I can get then I'll get a smidge of that and immerse myself in the sights and craftsy stuff. If there is no hash and/or it is a real hassle the...

I would suggest first truffles and then Sober Serious Museum Day not the other way around, take truffles to museum :D Y'see, I thought about that but that goes against the rules of Super Serious Museum Day. Ok, maybe I should elaborate on Sober Serious Museum Day. This is the day when I go to all of...

As it stands the Netherlands makes at least 200 million Euros in taxes from coffeeshops(it has been estimated at 400 million but I'm trying to be conservative). Maybe there are things in Amsterdam that are unbelievably cool that I missed. I'm not so sure, though. Either way, there would have to be ...

I love the way people are atill coming back to the money aspect, does Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, London and so on rely on cannabis for their touist money? Amsterdam is obviously the biggest cash cow in Holland and has a sleazy name attached to it because of the cannabis and rld, if they go...

FlybyNight: Don't put me on the "In town" page just yet. I'll let you know when I've bought tickets and am "locked in". :) Ok, so I've heard a lot of stuff from a lot of people about my potential destinations so I'm posting it here for some ideas. I'm going to be going to Europe ...

Meh. I'm still not quite to the point where I'm freaking out. From what I've read the new government has finally gotten to the point where they could, in theory, agree what to order from Chinese take out. I am not really confident that they have the unity and will to implement coffeeshop restriction...

Bringing your own alcohol to a CS?
Ok, so I had an idea and I don't know if I can do it in a CS or at wherever I was staying. I was thinking wouldn't it be nice to chill out with a nice sativa with a touch of hash with a nice sweet wine. So the question is this. Can I bring wine with me to a CS and it be ok? Or is that super illegal?...
