Re: Amsterdam Street Photograhy

I could see how the reticulated screen could come in handy, although for me, it would probably very seldom be used. I almost never use live view, except when shooting long exposure shots or landscapes or macro stuff when the camera is mounted on a tripod. I could come in very handy when street shoot...

Re: Amsterdam Street Photograhy

The 60D is a nice camera and would be very suitable for this type of photography. The price is significantly cheaper than the 7D. The autofocus system is not as sophisticated as the 7D and it doesn't have the weather sealing. These differences will not make a huge difference when shooting while walk...

Re: Paradox

It will be interesting to see how it will look after the renovation. It is one of my favorite coffeeshops. Great place to chill and smoke and they make a decent coffee.

Hope they don't paint over the mural

Re: Amsterdam Street Photograhy

All the photos I posted were taken with an Canon EOS 7D and either a 50mm f/1.4 or 17-55 f/2.8 lens. It is a camera that I really love and is my go-to camera for wildlife or action photography. I love the lighting quick autofocus system. However, for classic "street photography" the 7D is ...

Re: caramels = or other sweeties

A more effective method for space yogurt would be to: 1. Take a spoonful of coconut oil 2. Add in about a gram of hash, crumbled. 3. Heat gently as the hash melts into the oil 4. Remove from heat and allow to cool. 5. Stir into a pot of full fat yogurt. It is important to let the oil cool before sti...

Re: to bring space cake/s back home... possible?

Not worth the risk, in my opinion. Even if there is less than a 1% chance of getting caught with something, I would not take the chance. I always munch the cakes at the airport and then through security.

Re: Amsterdam Street Photograhy

Here are some shots I took back in October, shot with a Canon 7D and with various lenses. I think wandering around with a Leica M9 would result in some stunning images (damn expensive, though). I also think some of the micro 4/3 cameras would be very useful. On my next visit I plan to bring an Olymp...

Staff isn't very friendly, but a comfy place to chill. I've had both the white dolphin and the northern lights for Dolphins. Not great, but not bad either.

Wonder how the California Amnesia is? Interesting that Cali weed is starting to show up on menus. Marketing smoke & mirrors or the real deal?

Off to a great start.

I really loved the Grapefruit Krush during my visit in October. Lovely taste. I wish I had a big bag of it here at home.
