Re: One of the Trillion Questions I will have for you folk ;
Pre - shaped cones work well , my previous posts define my uselessness at rolling - however on my June trip I managed OK with Rizla KS blue slims to do some reasonble efforts (must have been cos I was wrecked) . However - in a few places - Paradox , Stix and Wortels in Haarlem - the tender took pity...

Re: Tourist/foreigner unfriendly coffeeshops

Excellent post ...very funny about your mate walking into a wall :D Stayed in Berlin in the IBIS once , with a good mate , and they gave us a double bed - when I said we were sharing for economy reasons , they happily gave us a room with twin beds. Just watch your pockets on the Metro and especially the RER system - and dont buy anything to eat / drink around the Gare du Nord area - they have extortion down to a vey fine art.
Well worth even a flying trip - beautiful Haussman architecture.

Re: Paris and tourist stuff...

Re: Zeeland C/S's
The Breskens ferry is a nice trip - came back that way and the 42 bus to Brugges - then train home via Brussels. As my great great grandfather was a sea captain from V/en it sort of made sense to have a maritime interlude. (watch for searches there though - apparently they happen occasionally at the...
