Lovely scene just before the linked clip in which Jon Stewart shows the audience what 25 grams looks like, but only has about three left after his team have nicked it all.

Re: So the Weed pass thing? and your thoughts?
Numerous articles blame the Brits for this pass because of the 'nuisance' your roguish behavior included. I wasn't aware of that. As a Brit I met few fellow countrymen in the Southern border towns where nuisance drug tourists have caused the most controversy. Most head for Amsterdam and as far I've...

Well you probably do if you at a party in a swinging 60s comedy movie with Peter Sellars.Part of the reason for this, say the experts, is that people smoking cannabis take deeper puffs and hold them for longer than when smoking tobacco cigarettes.

Antwerp Cannabis Club
As possession of 3g and owning one female plant is legal in Belgium, Dutch style coffeshops are not. However a non-profit making club, which grows a plant on behalf of the member, has won two court cases and currently able to continue in a legal grey area- http://www.standaard.be/artikel/detail.aspx...

Re: So the Weed pass thing? and your thoughts?
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but isn't this whole Weed Pass thing nothing short of discrimination? I mean a residents parking permit maybe understandable but if it wasn't for the Taboo nature of the subject surely the EU courts would have a field day with this. Is it really practica...

Re: we've been banned....official.
I've read a fair few comments people have left with this defeatist attitude on the whole thing which is dissapointing cos the end-result is far from being called yet. What make you say that, I understood the Wietpas is a done deal? But having said that the smoking ban was never fully enforced in Ho...

Election and wietpas
Anyone in Holland know what opposition parties' policies are on the the Wietpas?
I understand D66 and the Greens have publically opposed it and I understand are part of teh caretaker governemnt coalition in order to pass the budget.
Has the Labour Party expressed an opinion on the issue?
