The last week in June is what I had in mind, so sounds like it will be good! Who am I kidding, it's going to be awesome either way. Will post exact dates once I've sorted our accommodation, having some unfortunate delays trying to book an apartment at the moment...

Thanks for that. I mainly meant how noisy it is during the night, how safe the area feels after dark etc. Still hopeful of getting that place, but not had a reply from the owners in a few days, so getting a little worried now, really want to book soon! Guess I should get looking at other places...

I'm looking at a couple of apartments I've seen on airbnb on Zeedijk, and I'm just wondering, has anyone stayed around that area? What's it like in the evenings? The both times I've been to amsterdam I've somehow managed to be somewhere else every evening.

Just wanted to say hi, I've been lurking on this forum for at least 3 years now I think, thought it's high time I signed up. Looking to head to Amsterdam with my better half in June at some point, so trying to sort out accommodation now. Can't wait
