There are about 4-5 on the Kilburn High Road. As a rule of thumb:

If they look cheap (ie cheap beer prices)
Are a bit run down
Advertise Gaelic Football
Have a harp anywhere in their logo

AVOID!

Oh and the N98 nightbus stops right outside that hostel. It goes direct to Maida Vale, Edgware Road, Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Totenham Court Road, etc ... so perfect for getting into the centre of town and they run all night. Takes about 40-minutes to get to the top of Oxford Street from there

Not a bad area, pretty quiet, not a lot to do in Wilesden. You'll be equal distance...

180 for 3 nights is a good price for London. There are plenty of b&b's in the £50 a night range in Sussex Gardens, near Paddington. This! London is pretty freakin expensive dude.. think you'll struggle to find much for under £50/night, unless you go for hostels. AirBnB might be a better shout? ...

Good pub below it too.. Kilburn is easy to get into the centre on town too (there's 24-hour night buses which run form Oxford Circus) and tubes and overland trains there too.
