Re: Barney's Breakfast Bar

thanks! dong lord just likes to pretend he is intimidating by pretending to shit on what he considers the little man. poor guy. Hey, give me the honest opinion of one unbiased baccy smoker who is on the spot over the semi-incomprehensible ramblings of a hundred pure smoking fanboys who are several ...

Re: Barney's Breakfast Bar

Complete nonsense that you can't tell anything when you roll with tobacco (and before you start I quit the stuff years ago myself), just whatever you taste is mixed in with the tobacco taste. If someone regularly smokes tobacco spliffs and finds a particular weed tastes disgusting compared with any ...

That's a pretty silly way to put it, what with them being semi-legit commercial businesses, many of which have been running for decades. McDonalds may make crappy food but you wouldn't call them amateurs at running a fast food business.

Re: Cannabis Cafes can ban Tourists

Guess my point is that they've always been able to enforce it, this wasn't the first ruling and the aim of the failed action was to challenge the existing situation. I really don't think anything has changed.

Re: Cannabis Cafes can ban Tourists

I'd like a few more board members to weigh in on this. I guess it's not much to worry about because people aren't as upset as I am. I hope I am okay for my upcoming September trip. Then, I've also thought they do this intentionally to keep people coming. People aren't vocally upset (any more) becau...

Re: Which coffeeshops are affected by school days?

Luckily in terms of where the relevant offending school is they aren't close enough, the likes of Grey Area and Amnesia between the 2 are far enough away too. Enough casualties of this silly rule as it is.

Re: World Cup in a coffeeshop.

I'd definitely suggest Ibiza, watched several prem games in there in April, upstairs they have a big screen, 3 proper big sofas and a bunch more seating to watch it from. From the Ajax memorabilia etc in the place I'd guess football is a regular feature there, even if it hadn't been on every time I ...

Re: does anyone know or remember this guy?

Sounds like a basic old school hustler to me, the worlds cities are full of them except in stoney old Amsterdam they get extra scarey . 20 euros for an hours work . A travellers tale. Yeah my impression too, obvious blagger. Guy was probably pissed they look so long to pay him...

Re: What's Good RIGHT NOW: Real Time Weed Reports From Amste

two different people above have both said 10e, that's what made me ask, why the sudden price drop from 12e to 10e Generally this is done when there is something not as good as normal, like seeded kosher for discounted prices..... so if it is 10e & not 12e what is wrong with it is all i am askin...

Re: What's Good RIGHT NOW: Real Time Weed Reports From Amste

No, he means why is it suddenly €10/g when it has always been €12/g there at that shop before? I suspect the answer is that unless it changed very recently someone is wrong and it is €12, was when I was there in April and also was on the last menu in the Voyagers thread too, either a misread of the ...

Re: Coffeshops that are worth a visit?

Hey dude, listen there's a couple of things probably worth clearing up for a first time visitor. First of all, do not mistake the size of a coffeeshops menu as an indication of quality. Some of the very best shops in the city have only a handful of strains available, while some of the worst will say...

Re: Lost nightmare in the never everlands.

Who on earth expects to check in at a hotel at 10am? Like before the people in your room the previous night have checked out? Sorry but no way is that the hotel's fault, nobody with a tiny bit of sense would ever anticipate being able to checkin much before ~2pm without making specific arrangements ...
