Re: Menu for tomorrow
Weed can be hit or miss, but the range of hash available is amazing. I usually get a relatively small amount of weed from places like Utopia and Voyagers, which are reliable, but go mad on the hash. I say this so often I should probably put it on a macro. Not that it's likely to make any difference,...

Re: Menu changing
My advice would be not to get too hung up on finding something in particular. Find out what's good at the moment -- Utopia and Voyagers generally give good advice, elsewhere it may be more what the budtender wants to shift, but always go with your nose and instinct, because you're the customer, and ...

Re: Rokerij
That's quite cute in its way. By renaming Dampkring II 'Coffeeshop Amsterdam', they not only get found easily by those who google the words, but get to put the word 'coffeeshop' in the name of their non-coffeeshop bar/café.

Re: Moored in the Maghreb
I spent two weeks in Morocco to fulfil a childhood dream when I was 20 -- it was the farthest you could go with Interrail at the time -- but never made it to the mountains. I rather want to go now. Thanks for writing it up, and the pics.

Re: Rokerij
I don't think it actually said 'bar', because I remember thinking that it was supposed to be one, not a coffeeshop, and wondering whether to check it out. But I didn't.

Re: Reoccurring dreams.
I've never had literally recurring dreams about anything, in the sense of the same things happening, but there are themes. With Amsterdam it's being without something crucial -- passport forgotten on the way to the port, being in the Dam without cards or money, that sort of thing. Has never happened...

No idea, but that's how I remember it as well. Though I didn't go in either.CopenhagenCouple wrote: ↑Mon 2nd Apr 2018 09:57 am Wait, what? Aren't we just talking about a smoker's friendly bar here? Why would they include "coffeeshop" in the name..?

Re: Bagheera
This is a shop that I've never done more than check out in decades of Dam visits, even though reviews of its hash should have had me sampling things before now. They've got a special on Super Silver Haze hash at the moment, to commemorate 30 years of the shop, at €7.50 a g. I'd never seen this varie...

Re: Bring “truffles” from Amsterdam by train?
You're from Germany, and you have to ask? Unlike the Netherlands, Germany doesn't distinguish between truffles and mushrooms, so it's illegal. You're probably unlikely to be caught, as long as you make sure you look like a pillar of the community rather than a blissed-out hippie coming back from a M...

Re: Tweede Kamer
Never found there weed that good ,but should do a little more research in April  I've never tried their weed, because I always go for the hash. Then I look at the weed menu and think, if I had more time, I'd like to sample some of that. Last time, though, I was seduced by the Dr Grinspoon. An...

Here's a pic. Maybe someone staying near Rembrandtplein can check it out more thoroughly than I could be bothered to do.

No Kashmir, alas, but I've been told it will return. Still, a good menu, as always recently.
