Venue changed on Whos In Town. Do you want the time changed from 11 to 10 when they open?

Enjoy

4/20 always sneaks up on me!
It seems to have got imminent again.
I think it's partly because everyone starts talking about it during the previous year so it gets stuck in my tiny mind as ages in the future, until suddenly it isn't!
Also because it's my birthday so I've been busy getting old over the past couple of weeks.
Anyway, it's next week!
Time to make some burnt offerings to the weather gods. The long range forecast is looking pretty good: 16C - 20C and mostly dry. Excellent!

So, talk of Pijp crawl on Friday.
Sounds good.
The past couple of years we've stayed in Ballonnetje for 2 or 3 hours at least.
That would suggest moving to the Pijp around maybe 4-ish.
Probably not ideal for shopping in the Albert Cuypmarkt, but still possible if we do that first.
Shall we set an aim for a particular coffeeshop at a particular time?
Say Yo-Yo after the market closes at 5?
We could do a circuit of the Pijp from there.

Early Saturday meet moves from Voyagers to Mr K then. Trad - Mr K is what used to be Sanementereng, the antiques shop/coffeeshop. It's in the Jordaan. See here: Mr K.

Another tradition that's started to become established over the past few years is an afternoon at the Sound Garden.
This only really works if the sun is shining.
There is a suitable gap on Thursday between 420 Coffeeshop (Dutch Flowers) and Eerste Hulp.
At the moment the forecast is for Thursday to be the warmest day of the week but that could change.
If it looks like being a nice day closer to the time then it could be a good plan.

We could consider meeting at Het B at 11 or 12 maybe? It would mean getting to De Pijp earlier.

1pm it remains so :)

Who are the other early risers, pre 11am? I'll be up and about from 8 or 9.......I'm staying on Nieuwendijjk this time so will probably be down around Haarlemerstaat first thing. Bluebird is another great morning spot.

'Tis true
Stoned lemmings especially don't do mornings!
It's also a bit late for making changes, Ballonnetje is expecting us at 1.
Having said that, there's nothing stopping you from going there earlier.
Similarly, if we plan to meet at Yo-Yo a little after 5, then people can drift towards Albert Cuypmarkt over the course of the afternoon and then meet at Yo-Yo when the market closes.

What does everyone think?

That sounds good Lemming, YoyYo by 5 should be manageable for everyone and as you say people tend to slowly break off and float towards the next place, so any potential shoppers can avail of that option taking in the market en route :)

Looks like we will have a few for the morning crew too, I get in late enough on 18th, but 19, 20& 21 I'll be around Harlemerstraat in the mornings so!
