Agreed, good proposal Lems, and RoMo nailed it:
RoMoney wrote: Thu 11th Apr 2019 07:24 pm That sounds good Lemming, YoyYo by 5 should be manageable for everyone and as you say people tend to slowly break off and float towards the next place, so any potential shoppers can avail of that option taking in the market en route :)
And yes @RoMo, there are indeed some early risers among the crew, i expect you shall have plenty of options for W&B company... :)

It works good if you would like day tram pass as we go by central on way to balloon .Makes getting down to Yo Yo easy.
I may get drunk on 18th and May be lucky to get to balloon by one

Hi crew, I think we will arrive on the 19th for the Yo Yo meeting, on the 20th we will be in town and we would like to participate in the boat trip if Tor can take the boat with us. On Easter Sunday we will be in Haarlem at the WW near the station to start the tour with you. :D

@Macky - I've changed the early Friday meets for you in the list above. Probably a good plan that as 137 only officially opens at 10 so you'd likely be waiting at the door. So you'll be there as soon as tomorrow. Lucky people! Down to you to start the live thread then. See you on Tuesday.

Regarding excursions:

Delft
I've generated this Google map.
There are only 4 coffeeshops and the 3 closest to the station appear to be tiny buy'n'fly places. I'd be up for dashing around all of them just to take pictures but that wouldn't be fair on the rest of you. It's a little bit of a trek but looks like Bamboo Beach Club / de Vlouw is the place to head for.

The Hague
Google map
Looks to me like Cremers is the place to aim for here. Maybe taking in the Escher exhibition along the way.

Leiden
Google map
I've been here before. Lovely city!
Again, some of the shops are buy'n'fly. As I recall, 't Leidseplein was my favourite last time.

Three cities in one day might be a bit ambitious but should be do-able if we're keen. What do you think? Which shops would you like to try to get to?

Haarlem
Sounds like Willie Wortel's Indica is the one everyone wants to get to.
Last year Maxxx organised a special session with Nol.
Haven't heard from Maxx for a while so I guess he's not joining us this year.
I might have Nol's email address somewhere so I could let him know we're coming if you like.

Thoughts? Anyone? Everyone?

That sounds good ,if we get 4 or more we can get group ticket and if we go off busy times even cheaper check NS.
De Mazzelaar CS in The Hague if not far ...they have real Amniesia ,the Jack Herrera cut
Beside that Lemming where up for anything on 17th 8)

FYI, Albert Heijn is currently selling the "Dagkaartjes" I've mentioned previously on this forum, I'll edit and attach a link momentarily.

Edit:

https://www.ah.nl/producten/product/wi4 ... n-dagkaart

This doesn't actually reflect the pricing scheme, as there is a sliding scale discount based on amount of tickets purchased. So if you purchase enough the price drops down to 14.50 EUR per ticket, and will allow you to travel anywhere in the Netherlands on a given calendar-date, on any NS train - with the exception of the "Intercity Direct" (only has three stops Amsterdam, Schiphol and Rotterdam) which can be also accessed as well, but requires a one time surcharge (per person, per calendar-date) to be paid, it's around 4 EUR for the ICD surcharge I believe. Oh, and on weekends - I believe the range of hours this ticket provides access to transport on the calendar-date is not restricted, and thus spans the entire calendar-date. However, during weekdays I believe work-commute hours (7-10 AM) + (4-6:30 PM) are restricted, and thus inside those two windows the ticket is not valid, but that's not too much issue with some prior planning and coordination.

As long as we get out of delft before 4pm ,working around peak hours should be easy 8)
It,s 49 minutes to delft so arrive around two ,that gives us till 330 ish to get train to The Hague . Then any time after 630 we can go to Lieden then home with no restrictions :D

Yeah we'll catch up beforehand at some point, and I'll help you purchase them, as the actual sales-point and/or online activation process is likely all in Dutch.

Sweet, we finally get to meet a fellow hash-head we have been looking forward to smoking a few with for some time!   We're in early on the 18th, so depending on how things go and when you leave again there might be a chance or two for a T&T, otherwise we will have to make due with 420 :)
