im still here, i never leave. just some times takes me longer between visits. i really need to get back to Mokum. Waiting for the right time. I'll know when. I wouldnt worry about others. Everyone will make their way back to Mokum in their own due time. No worries folks. Be happy

There's no one reason for the decline. Some posters have decamped to Facebook, some have drifted away. A lot of the US posters are now more Colorado oriented and a lot of activity on the board was Cannabis Cup based, which now no longer happens in Amsterdam. The threat of the W*** P*** also took it's toll.

How old do you have to be to be considered an old member?

This is my first post in years. Sadly have not been to Amsterdeam in several years but hope to make it back sometime.

Newbies post 2014

Then the late 1980's gets me in as old.

So early 1940's and late 1990's gets me in the Old Members club as old and old!

Not quite sure where these pre-2005 dates come in, the forum didn't exist before that!

Personally I started visiting Amsterdam coffeeshops in the late 1980s, started the ACD in 1998 and was the first member of this forum in 2005.

I just had a quick scan through the member list and found the following people who also joined in 2005 and have been active in 2016: Pengaldinho, AzLaker, Sir Ian of Tokesville, FACE, Drugsbunny, Back2thedam, Lafe and Redeye.

FlyByNite was a bit tardy, only joining in 2006 la2019 also joined in 2006 and is still active.

There are many people who were regular posters in 2015, just before we went off air, who haven't visited since we came back. Hopefully they'll find us soon.
