RIP Vinnie Paul of Pantera

Was just talking about the man a couple days ago.... Pantera were a massive influence on me as a kid, and still are.... Probably one of the most influential and iconic metal bands on the planet.

Vinnie was a true beast of a drummer... Tight, meaty, and with a groove that could make you thrash like toddler at bedtime!

Met him once in the late 90's and he was such a nice bloke, as was his brother, who was sadly murdered in 2004...

So sad when these people who you grew up with die, but this one is another that stings just a little more than most!

RIP Vinnie & Dime!

Fuuuuuck! :( :( :(   :( :( :(

We just talked about them the other day.... So sad that Vinnie should also leave us so early.

We feel the same as you do about their music but sadly never got the chance to hear them live (split up too early, especially for Missus CC), but they were a huge influence on both of us and consistently in our all time top 5 metal bands. Especially Vinnie and Darrell changed metal for ever...

RIP Vinnie and Dime!
