A little off beam even by my standards, I've been getting into the "Choir of Hard Knocks".

A group of busted arse homeless people and junkies from inner Melbourne were rounded up and given an opportunity to show they still have something to offer mainstream society.

Not everyone's cup of tea - I used to tease my dad for his taste of music but he has recently got me into Tom Waits (or his early stuff anyway).

A couple of brilliant songs from his first album that I been playing a lot are:

When I went to Amsterdam last January on a solo trip I burned this playlist onto a cd just in case I ran into a 'shroom.

Playlist Title:

Show Me That I'm Everywhere
And Get Me Home For Tea

1. Welcome To The Machine - Pink Floyd
2. Singing Winds, Crying Beasts - Santana
3. Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen - Santana
4. Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake - The Small Faces
5. Within You, Without You - The Beatles
6. Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles
7. Only A Northern Song - The Beatles
8. It's All Too Much - The Beatles
9. Across The Universe - The Beatles
10. Eight Miles High - The Byrds
11. Ballad of Easy Rider - The Byrds
12. When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin
13. Many Rivers To Cross - Jimmy Cliff
14. Albatross - Fleetwood Mac

Well, I did run into a 'shroom and the music worked a treat. When I listen to it now, it is drenched with 'shroomness.
