Get in the saddle and ride from London to Amsterdam to help us in the fight against prostate cancer

Football fans can help the fight against prostate cancer by signing up to the 2015 London to Amsterdam Challenge with The Football League.
The two-day ride takes place in June and will see hundreds of supporters, club employees and ex-professionals pedal their way from the capital to the home of Ajax in Amsterdam, all to raise as much cash as possible to assist the fight against the disease.
Those taking part will cover around 145 miles after setting out from the east London home of Leyton Orient on June 12. An overnight ferry from Harwich will take the peloton on to Holland and the final leg of the ride to the iconic Amsterdam ArenA.
Fans taking part in the challenge will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, the official charity partner of The Football League. To take part all we ask is a £149 registration fee and a commitment to raise £1,000 in sponsorship.
Once the riders arrive in Amsterdam on June 13 they will enjoy a slap-up meal and a Q&A with some of the former players who have taken part in the ride. Then the following day they will take the train back to London, safe in the knowledge they’ve done their bit for a very good cause.

Last year former Arsenal winger Perry Groves took part in the challenge. He said: “Joining football clubs, ex-pros, managers and your mates, enjoying the challenge and finishing at the Amsterdam Arena - it’s a great way to spend a weekend.”
