really fucked up...i mean the kids walk by the shops all the time and its no big deal..we have fun with the kids sometimes..its never been a problem..the poor old sisters at la tertillia knew about this years ago back in 2010 but didnt think it would happen...i really hate stupid rules and this is one of em :cry:

Oh my... :shock:
I noticed a date, 1 Jan 2014, is this the effective date?
Something of equal importance, will the owners be allowed to relocate? If so but decide against, maybe a few licenses for sale?
I'm not sure how it all works, but this could open opportunities in lieu of the closures. At the very least, they aren't being closed due to illegal activities... that's something.
A sad day that many knew was eventually coming... :cry:

Well in the old church thread there is mention of relocation to the rockerij premises. So it would appear that relocating could be an option.

This April will be my 5th visit and I've not once noticed a school and I've at least walked past 50% of the shops listed. That shows how much attention I've been paying :o

The Rookies owner on having a coffeeshop close to a school: (2:40). This is 2009, but he mentions the 250 meter law

Next trip: November 2013

yes the 1 Jan 2014 is the date... I hope that the shops are allowed to relocate... I am in
Amsterdam this weekend 8) so I will ask in Coffeeshop Utopia maybe they know more...
