Best Kitchen deals HERE

Post by treetop »

Which coffee shop do you think has the best kitchen? I'd have to say Greenhouse on Harlemmerdijk has an awesome kitchen and does burgers. Any other CS even come close?

Personally I think this is an angle that coffee shops miss out on.

Treetop can you please change the name of this thread? Maybe like Best Coffeeshop Food?

And there are a couple of older threads discussing this. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=21487 and viewtopic.php?f=3&t=21238

I think you might have missed the irony Balou :?.
a) the use of words to express something other than and especially the opposite of the literal meaning
b) a usually humorous or sardonic literary style or form characterized by irony
c) an ironic expression or utterance
I would describe TT's utterances as being mostly in group (b)

Who said yanks dont do irony ? :D :D

If you come to London and piss, shit or vomit on the 'historic' streets; you'll be positively local in your behaviour. Like we give a shit. A good piss on the Tower of London (now just a museum that Londoners never go to) or Buck House (Buckingham Palace to you) will also reflect the Londoners' attitude to the monarchy. We welcome you and your bladder!

Do have a good old smoke on the buses and enjoy some cheeky rapport with the ManDem before they nick your draw. When in Rome...

What's so fucking sacred about the Alamo anyway? PeeWee Herman went there... that I do know.

Back to kitchens... are CS burgers really alright? I mean; even Febo tastes OK if you're caned enough...

My body is a temple - old and in fucking ruins.

Pink Floyd did great toasties. Did being the operative word. I think I'll just grab a burger from somewhere else whilst shuffling to another coffeeshop or grab a slice of pizza.
Febo....have to restrain myself from eating that crap while stoned. Looking at Febo sober is scary.

Anyone try the herring? I'm kinda reluctant to try it.
Not long now....

You gotta have some herring. Dutch food is pretty much a mixed bag of pastry, ham, cheese, egg and herring. No herring is like not eating over-sized bits of meat in the US or lard in Scotland.

Never had the pizza slice as I assumed they were much the same as the week old slices sold here in London. We do have a good line in herring biegels though.

If you like sushi you'll like herring. I like mine in a bun with a few onions. Delicious.
